Many days have passed, and the people of that area have been facing severe water shortages for a long time. In that village, the Dalit families, numbering around 30 to 50, are not being given drinking water. Water from the tanker is being supplied to other areas of the Panchayat, but the Dalit families who actually reside there are being denied drinking water. They are refusing to provide tanker water to that place. The street lights there are not being turned on at night. People live in darkness and face difficulties moving around. They are also being told, ‘You are Dalit, you are Harijan, you are untouchables.’ If the Mohan government and administration take notice of this, then these people would not have to face such difficulties.
